“Beaumond Cross Inn strikes me as a genuinely warm spot in Newark-on-Trent. Its 18th-century coaching inn roots give it a lovely, historical feel, and the fact that it's family-owned shines through in the personalized service. I appreciate that they make the most of local ingredients in their dishes, and private courtyard parking in that central location is a real find.”

the breakfast menu impressed me greatly , as it featured locally-sourced sausages that tasted delicious. the hotel boasts hand-pulled real ale , a pleasant surprise compared to typical co2-drawn beers. i found the staff helpful , especially when i arrived late at night.
i noticed the absence of toiletries in the room , though they were available upon request. the room felt quite warm and the bedding was thick , , made sleeping a bit difficult. i found the shower cabin rather narrow , as i kept bumping into the sides.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The homemade pies were delicious , and the freshly cooked breakfast was amazing. I will definitely stay again.
I was charged for parking without any warning. They would not allow me to keep my luggage in my already booked room. The shower cabin was so narrow. I was bumping myself when applying soap on my sides.
